Before any of you start to roll your sleeves about me bashing some foreigners coming here to work, let me clarify this: I’m all for their contribution to the economy. What I’m not liking is that they come here, get a cushy job and act all mighty towards others, especially us, service staff.

You come in from a third-world country with issues plaguing your daily lives, getting a decent job was hard. When you land yourself a cushy job in a local or MNC, you think you have made it. Get this, sista, you are just another digit which PAP imports to stimulate its economy to buffer its fat paycheck. Once your time is up, you leave and get back to your sorry life that you once lived.

One other thing which amuses me is the fact mainland Chinese can easily get S’porean citizenship. Why the fuck is that happening? Is it to increase the Chinese ratio in Singapore? If so, do you think these people can easily integrate with the locals? Some struggle with the first language — English — and probably have no contact with any other races in their own country. Can you see a local Malay being born or bred in China? Hardly. So what makes you think that these mainlanders can communicate AND understand our local customs? Our own people don’t even bother knowing and understanding other races’ cultures and customs.

Oh wait, I wonder how these mainlanders recite our National Anthem. It’s in Malay…
